80% Nebbiolo and 20% Vespolina from younger organic vines in the hills of what's known as Alto Piemonte, the northernmost areas of Piedmont. The grapes are hand harvested and wild fermented and aged in concrete, then bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur added. Medium bodied with high-toned red forest berries and wild herbs with crushed rocks and pine needles on a structured, but easy going frame.
