This vintage is 100% Merlot, undergoing 3 different fermentation treatments (oak, concrete & stainless) and then blended. The result is a wine with strong fruit components of red & black berries complimented by layered notes of oak & spice with great acidity. A great wine for a California drinker to start to explore Bordeaux.
