Co-fermented 90% Syrah and 10% Viognier, using 25% whole clusters of Syrah, sourced from the Deux Vert Vineyard. Created when winemaker, Brianne Day, became pregnant and had the idea that she wanted to make a wine that would age well enough that her son could drink it when he came of age. It's a delicate but deeply penetrating style, atypical for most Oregon Syrahs. Light, tart red fruits, citrus and a hint of leather push down and through, maintaining a fine balance in an evocative, herbal finish.
