Pinot Auxerrois is a local grape variety, an aromatic selection of Pinot Blanc, developed in Lorraine for the soils and climate of Lorraine. The objective was to have an aromatic and fruity grape variety, suitable for champagne production and resistant to phylloxera. On tasting, the color is pale yellow with pearly reflections, the expressive nose with a dominant of apple, William pear and notes of mirabelle plum and white fruits. The round and harmonious mouth with citrus flavors. It can accompany seafood and fish but also goat cheese and fresh cheese.
