Kivelstadt Mother of Invention

Styled after its cousins from the Rhone Valley, Mother of Invention is our bistro white blend.  An 80/20 split of Roussanne and Marsanne farmed organically on Bonfiglio Vineyard along the banks of the Russian River, Mother of Invention is fermented in neutral French oak barrels, sur-lie aged for 6 months, and undergoes malolactic fermentation naturally before going to bottle.  Lean yet still medium bodied, this wine will surely be a favorite at your table just as it is at ours.
