This is a sophisticated, harmonious blend of three great vineyards from two appellations in Santa Barbara County: Solomon Hills Vineyard from Santa Maria Valley blends beautifully with John Sebastiano and Zotovich Vineyards from Sta. Rita Hills. Each vineyard brings to this blend nuances of its appellation. Santa Maria Valley shows through in the fragrant and perfumed nose with a touch of spice, while Sta. Rita Hills brings additional structure, weight, and power. The 2018 has incredibly intense fruit, and it’s made in a showy, and compelling style that pulls you right in. On the palate a burst of red berries, sassafras, wild spices, and blueberry lets you know you’re into something special.
