Ready to drink now, this is a classic style of Brunello that is showing the depth and beauty of tertiary qualities that are highlighted even further with a quick decanting. Bricking at the rim leads to a core of maroon and the nose if full of dried purple rose, star anise, dried and baked black plum and savory umami notes on the finish. The tannins have rectified and are quite supple but the acidity is all present!
