One of the unqualified successes of the vintage that benefits from the inclusion of fruit that usually goes into the Riserva bottling, this is still showing signs of youth with aromas of dark, vibrant fruit that melds into graphite, spices, menthol and minerals as this elegant Brunello opens up in the glass. Medium bodied for Brunello, this still packs quite a punch, with tons of fruit that carries through on the palate and balances the tannins beautifully through the finish.
